“Make America Love Again” is not only an award-winning music video but also an extremely important message for the entire world to hear. 2020 was a hard year for the entire globe with the Corona-Virus Pandemic reeking havoc worldwide killing so many and creating a need for nationwide quarantines. The quarantines in turn led to many global issues including mass hysteria, depression, confusion, and a feeling of global dread as we all watched this unfold before our very eyes. Rises in domestic violence, suicide, divorce rates, and so many other issues overtook the globe leaving us untrusting of one another in an act of self-preservation. However, as the saying goes the night is always darkest before the dawn and artistic works such as this remind us that the dawn is coming and love, trust, and faith in one another is our way forward. Together is our way forward and Director Tone Davies, The Wolfman, captures this inspiring spirit perfectly with an approach that is simple but extremely powerful. 

The 19th-century proverbial phrase "Less is more" was first found in print in Andrea del Sarto, 1855, a poem by Robert Browning:

"Who strive - you don't know how the others strive
To paint a little thing like that you smeared
Carelessly passing with your robes afloat,-
Yet do much less, so much less, Someone says,

Well, less is more, Lucrezia."

Director Tone Davis utilizes this old adage perfectly, by forgoing the bells and whistles of big shiny sets, decorative costumes, and stunning visual effect. Instead choosing to focus on what is really important to the world right now. An anthem for the coming dawn and a reminder that what is needed is love, kindness, and unity. A simple but powerful message brought to life through the use of simple but powerful techniques including its main theme which is both hauntingly beautiful and highly engaging for the audience, which brings the video's beautiful and powerful words to full effect, captivating the audience from start to finish. The final ingredient which catapults this wonderful video and its heartwarming genuine artistic call for hope and love to even greater heights is the performers themselves. Their amazing voices performed with so much heart and soul come together in perfect unity which flawlessly mirrors the atmosphere of the video and its message never losing the passion and spirit of the piece.
